Global Radio’s Xfm will broadcast the world exclusive full playback of the brand new album from Gorillaz next week.

Plastic Beach is released on Monday 8th March but will have its first full airplay on Xfm on Tuesday 2nd March at 12pm, in an exclusive show presented by John Kennedy, joined by Gorillaz’ very own Murdoc Niccals

Gorillaz band members Murdoc Nicalls, 2D, Noodle and Russel are set to repeat their phenomenal success with the release of Plastic Beach. The album features an exciting mix of collaborations with other artists, including first single from the album Stylo with Bobby Womack and Mos Def. Other tracks see collaborations from Snoop Dogg, Kano, De La Soul and the National Orchestra for Arabic Music.

According to the latest radio industry figures released by RAJAR *, XFM attracts 881,000 people across the UK each week, tuning in for a total of over 4 million listening hours.
